How do I unzip this zipped file?

On a Mac: Once you've downloaded the zipped file, go to your downloads. Double click the zipped file or right click the folder and select open.

The unzipped item appears in the same folder as the .zip file. If you want to, you can delete the .zip file.

Note: If you can’t open the .zip file, make sure you have enough space on your Mac for the unzipped item. If you received the .zip file from someone else, there might be a problem with the file. Ask them to zip the file again and resend it.

On a PC/Windows: Open your downloads folder and right-click on the ZIP file, select "Extract All", choose the desired location to save the extracted files, and click "Extract"

Why Wix?

I do not want to be using wix as a webhost. It's owned by an Israeli company and supports the Israeli government's genocide of the Palestinian people. I tried really hard to use other free website hosting platforms but after months of trying, it just wasn't possible. I fully intend to switch to a different webhost once i've learned how to make it work. Because the QR codes cannot be changed once printed, this site will need to stay active. It is my intention to redirect the pages to the new site once it is completed. This wasn't an easy decision to make, and i don't know how future me will feel about this, but i'm trying to do the best that i can. I've prioritized accessibility and i'm doing this on my own - it isn't easy, it's a lot of work, i know i can do better and will continue to work to do better. I hope folks will understand.

How do you do the UV paint?

It's surprisingly simple! There are a number of products and brands that make acrylic based UV paint. UV Paint is different from Glow in The Dark paint! UV reactive paint only becomes luminescent when exposed to ultra violet light (a black light) because the particles that create that glow reflect the light whereas with glow in the dark paint the particles absorb UV light. This absorption means that they become "charged" and will glow for as long as the "charge" lasts. So i use UV reactive paint and not glow in the dark. One of the challenges is getting it to be so invisible. It takes a lot of trial and error, and in truth it's impossible to make it completely invisible, as there's a little bit of gloss to it that can be seen with the right lighting. I tend to mix the UV paint with a little bit of the regular paint colours i'm using to blend it as best as it can be however, that reduces the vibrancy of the UV paint as the particles get coated in the non-UV reactive paint. So it's a lot of patience and layers and fucking up and trying again. I know I said it was simple and in theory it is, but like everything else, it takes practice.
